Our Story
A Passion for Transforming Lives
CFF Medical & Behavioral Health was founded in 2022 with a clear purpose: to improve access to quality mental health and behavioral health services for individuals of all backgrounds.
Our founders, Dr. Tasong and Dr. Mukwada, are dual board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNP) and family nurse practitioners (FNP) with over 20 years of experience in multiple healthcare settings. Having worked in telehealth, long-term care, home care, primary care, psychiatric clinics, insurance, urgent care, hospice, and inpatient behavioral hospitals, they saw firsthand the barriers individuals face in accessing timely, effective mental health care.
Growing up in environments where mental health stigma was prevalent, our founders were driven by a deep desire to create a practice where people could seek care without fear of judgment. At CFF Medical & Behavioral Health, we are proud to offer a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment—one where individuals can openly discuss their challenges and receive personalized, evidence-based treatment.

Our Commitment to you
We’ll deliver the care we would want our family members to have. We’re committed to following the highest clinical standards, delivering the best possible outcomes, protecting your privacy, and treating you like a person, not a patient.
